Overview
This qualification is designed to meet the needs of specialist demolition workers who dismantle and demolish public, residential, commercial and industrial structures of all types, and process the resulting materials for salvage, recycling and waste disposal.
Occupational titles could include:
Demolition worker
Demolition plant operator
Demolition team leader
Licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements for demolition work differ between states and territories. Please consult with the relevant regulatory authority.
Completion of the general construction induction training program, specified in the Safe Work Australia model Code of Practice: Construction Work, is required by anyone carrying out construction work. Achievement of CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry meets this requirement.
Entry Requirements:
For Individuals:
- Minimum 16 years of age
- Fitness and agility to undertake tasks
- Have USI or create one from https://www.usi.gov.au/your-usi/create-usi

Outcome
Upon the successful completion of an RPL program through our Partner Registered Training Organisation, the RTO will award you with a nationally recognised qualification – CPC30420 Certificate III in Demolition.
USI
All participants doing nationally recognised training from January 1, 2015 need to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).

Cancellation Policy
We are unable to refund monies for students who do not turn up for classes or decide later after booking that they do not want to attend. Changes to class times are allowed, but not within 48 hours of the class commencing.
What is RPL
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) acknowledges skills acquired through formal and informal learning and work experience. The process assesses evidence of your competency to determine if you meet the required standards and can be used to award a formal qualification or credits towards a qualification.

RPL Process
1. Submit your relevant skill document.
2. Our partner RTO assessor will assess your skills and knowledge for each unit of competency.
3. You may be asked by the assessor to perform various tasks for a practical observation at your work site.
