Overview
Our nationally recognized TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment provides knowledge and skills to work in the VET industry.
This qualification (or the skill sets derived from units of competency within it) is also a suitable preparation for those engaged in the delivery of training and assessment of competence in a workplace context, as a component of a structured VET program.
The potential career pathways after successful completion would be as an enterprise trainer or assessor, RTO trainer or assessor, training advisor, training needs analyst and vocational education teacher
Information
Provide Documents/Evidence
- Valid Identification
- List showing relevant employment history
- Work samples and documents (training plans,materiel, assessment review, record, evaluation etc)
- Letter of employment
- Reference letters from qualified trainer/assessor you have worked with
- Photos and videos of your work
- Overseas qualifications
- Related licenses, short courses, accreditation, certificates, transcripts or assessments you have attained
- Apprenticeship papers (if available)
Outcome
Upon the successful completion of an RPL program through a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), the RTO will award you with a nationally recognised qualification as a trainer and assessor.
USI
All participants doing nationally recognised training from January 1, 2015 need to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).

Cancellation Policy
We are unable to refund monies for students who do not turn up for classes or decide later after booking that they do not want to attend. Changes to class times are allowed, but not within 48 hours of the class commencing.
What is RPL
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) acknowledges skills acquired through formal and informal learning and work experience. The process assesses evidence of your competency to determine if you meet the required standards and can be used to award a formal qualification or credits towards a qualification.

RPL Process
1. Submit your relevant skill document.
2. Our partner RTO assessor will assess your skills and knowledge for each unit of competency.
3. You may be asked by the assessor to perform various tasks for a practical observation at your work site.
