Overview
This course covers the skills and knowledge required to responsibly sell or serve alcohol and satisfy the requirements for responsible service of alcohol (RSA) under NSW legislation Anyone who is interested in the hospitality industry should complete this course to broaden employment opportunities.
Liquor and Gaming NSW interim RSA certificate -valid for 90 days after which “A statement of Attainment upon successful of assessment.” Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for SITHFAB002 Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol.
Cancellation Policy:
We are unable to refund monies for students who do not turn up for classes or decide later after booking that they do not want to attend. Changes to class times are allowed, but not within 48 hours of the class commencing.
Information
Course Requirement
- Participants must be at least 16 years to take this course. But participants can NOT provide service even if they have RSA competency card if they are under 18.
- Participants must provide one of valid I.D. (eg. Passport, Australian driver’s licence, state government issued proof age card. Note. International driver’s licence is not accepted) attend the course.
- This course combines plain English and questions to ensure all learners have the best understanding of the required knowledge and skills. If you believe you will need assistance due to your Language, Literacy and Numeracy skills, don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss your training needs.
LLN (language, literacy and numeracy)
- This course combines plain English, photos, and questioning to ensure all learners are able to have the best possible chance at comprehending the required knowledge and skills. language, literacy and numeracy that are essential to performance. LLN ((language, literacy and numeracy) skills will be assessed prior to entry to the course.
Course Content
- Legal requirements related to venues, minors and signage
- Assisting customers to drink within the appropriate limits
- How to react to alcohol affected customers and identify those whose service should be refused

All participants doing nationally recognised training from January 1, 2015 need to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).
